4C & A Garden for Rico
As 4C grows, the word is getting out and more local charities are hearing about the organisation that finds projects for its members in the community. The charity Parents and Children Locally recently contacted Ginny Hawksley, Partnership Manager of 4C, requesting assistance for Rico Amedileu. Two year old Rico was born with Septo Optic Dysplasia, a blinding disease for which there is no cure. He loves music and to play at home as other children running around make him nervous. Rico loves to play in sunlight and feel the breeze on his skin. His mother, Danielle Providence gave up her social worker studies to become a full time carer for Rico. Their home in High Wycombe had an open garden with a low wire fence and other children regularly came in and broke Rico’s toys, including his trampoline which he requires for exercise. 4C received funding through charity Helping Children Locally, and 4C member Dominik Lach of DL Construction along with 4C volunteers erected a 5ft fence and gate around … Continue reading
